The Interlocal employs teachers of low-incident eligibility categories such as Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Blind/Low Vision, Cognitive Disability – Moderate, and Cognitive Disability – Severe.  Old National Trail also employs Educational Coordinators, School Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, a Physical Therapist, Speech Language Pathologists, Speech Language Pathologist Assistants, Language Facilitators, Job Coaches, Paraprofessionals, office staff, and administrative staff.

If a parent feels their child may qualify for special services, the student’s school should be contacted so the Guidance Counselor and/or School Psychologist may help take next steps and see if the student may need a referral to the  Multi-tiered System of Support Team/Response to Instruction Team or possible testing by the School Psychologist.

If testing is deemed necessary, a case conference will be held by the testing due date and the case conference committee will determine if the student qualifies for services.  If eligibility is determined, an Individual Education Plan (IEP) will be developed with appropriate programming, services, and accommodations along with annual goals. The case conference committee will gather at least once a year for an Annual Case Review to review progress of the student and develop a new plan.
